BCN SOL MASIA GIRONA  Its a typical Catalonian farmhouse. Built in the year 1740.

Due to its architectural interest and value, it had not undergone any transformation for more than 260 years and in 2007 it was carefully restored to its original glory in order to preserve its original character and personality.

BCN SOL MASIA GIRONA consists of a Main House and cottage, sharing an area of ​​620 m2.

The Main house consists of two floors and can accommodate 8 people.

Its consists of a ground floor with a large kitchen, 1 dining room with a capacity for up to 20 people, 1 living room with fireplace, 1 reading room and 1 large central room that is used as an entertainment room.

On the first floor there are 4 bedrooms, each equipped with their own private bathroom:

Bedroom 1 ( 1 double bed)

Bedroom 2 (1 double bed)

Bedroom 3 ( 2 single beds)

Bedroom 4 ( 2 singles + 2 spare beds)

It has a large garden area with trees (more than 5,000 m2) where the swimming pool and BBQ area are located.

Adjacent to the Main House is the cottage. It has an area of 85 m² between the ground floor and first floor (loft space), with a capacity for 4  people.

It has a fully equipped kitchen, dining-living room with fireplace.

On the first floor there is one bedroom, equipped with a private bathroom.

Bedroom 1 ( 1 double bed + 1 single bed)

Second floor consists of a converted loft: Loft bedroom (2 single beds)

The farmhouse is just 15 km from the city of Girona, which is one of Catalonia’s richest treasures of cultural and architectural heritage.

This includes the Cathedral, with the world’s broadest Gothic church; the Jewish Quarter, one of the best conserved; the Arab Baths; the Archaeological Walk, the wooded park of the Devesa; the old city defences, including the most extensive stretches of Carolingian walls in existence; and interesting Romanesque, Gothic and Modernist buildings.

All of these, plus the city’s wide range of restaurants, bars, clubs, theatres and museums, make Girona an essential visit.
